Legal
This policy explains how FindPromps handles information when you visit or use our website. Last updated August 6, 2026.
We may collect your name, email address, profile image, password in securely hashed form, profile details, comments, favorites, likes, prompt history, newsletter subscription, and information you send when contacting us. If you sign in through Google, we receive the basic account information authorized by you and the provider; we do not receive your Google password.
When you browse FindPromps, we record limited usage information such as the page visited, referring page, time of the visit, and a randomly generated visitor identifier. Our server and hosting providers may also process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and security logs.
We use essential cookies for authentication, security, and saved preferences. We also use a first-party visitor cookie to avoid counting repeated page views during a short period. If advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, and personalize ads where permitted.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google’s partner sites policy. You may manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, and you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Where required by law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we will request consent before using non-essential advertising or personalization technologies. Visitors may withdraw a choice through the privacy controls made available on the site or through their browser. Some features may work differently when cookies are disabled.
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host the site, maintain the database, authenticate users, deliver email, store media, measure traffic, or provide advertising. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Comments and other material you intentionally publish may be visible to other visitors together with your displayed name or profile image. Do not post sensitive personal information in public areas.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in each message. To request account or personal-data assistance, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity.
FindPromps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The updated date above will show the latest revision. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@findpromps.com.
